The area under each curve can be thought of as the total lumen output of the light, the height of each curve represents peak candela (cd). The width of the visible beam is illustrated by the length of the yellow curve line along the horizontal axis.

The first row of six graphs is full scale (80k cd). The second row is scaled to 5k cd and the third to 1k cd to show greater output detail to the edge of the beam.
